Our team was out bright and early helping Ancrum Heritage and Friends of the Monteath Mausoleum with the installation of a new lectern and interpretation panel along St Cuthbert’s Way.

It wasn’t the easiest location to reach—after a trek from the A68 across two fields, carrying 4 bags of postcrete, 20 litres of water, spades, shovels, a pinch bar, and a level (phew!)—but thanks to six dedicated volunteers and two trusty trolleys, we got the job done.

The panel shares important local history with walkers and visitors, and it’s now standing proud in its new home, ready to inform and inspire.
