Choose the Right Material: Mesh vs. PVC

• AirMesh Banners: “Ideal for high-elevation scaffolding. The perforated mesh allows wind to pass through, reducing the ‘sail effect’ and protecting your structure.”

• PVC Banners (510gsm – 750gsm): “Perfect for eye-level branding and high-detail graphics. Our blockout PVC ensures your double-sided prints don’t show through.”

Pole Pocket Sizing

Pockets are sized at 60mm in diameter to easily accommodate a standard scaffold pole.

As with our bespoke banners, pole pockets are inclusive of overall size (not in addition to overall size). So a 1m × 1m banner is 1m tall from the top of the top pocket, to the bottom of the bottom pocket. This means the usable and recommended face/safe area on the banners is around 400mm less than the overall height of the banner.

Our pre-press experts quality-check your artwork before printing, and a professional survey of your intended installation site is advisable for any outdoor banners over 25 square meters in size. They offer various finishing methods, including hems and eyelets, reinforced hems, and pockets for sliding poles through.

Finishing

PVC-based banners are high-frequency welded at the top and bottom to create the pole pockets and trimmed on the sides.

Fabric banners have stitched pole pockets on the top and bottom, and hems on the sides.

Sometimes, eyelets in the welds/joins are required on one side of the banner. If this is the case for your banner, please let us know when ordering and we will add these free of charge.
