Ecoflex 2 Chalkboard Pavement Sign

Ecoflex 2 Chalkboard Pavement Sign

The Ecoflex 2 chalkboard pavement sign is a practical outdoor display for businesses that need flexible, changeable messaging. It is ideal for cafés, restaurants, pubs, bars, takeaways, shops, salons, markets, venues, schools, events and local businesses that want a reusable pavement sign for daily promotions and customer information.

The sign features a double-sided 3mm HPL chalkboard panel that can be written on using soft chalk or liquid chalk pens. This makes it useful for messages that change regularly, such as menus, daily specials, offers, event times, opening hours, queue guidance and wayfinding.

The Ecoflex 2 HPL uses a recycled PVC base with a patented wedge fitting, allowing the sign to be assembled and disassembled without tools. The base is designed for stability and the full product is easy to move, store and bring indoors when required.

Why choose a chalkboard pavement sign?

A chalkboard pavement sign is useful when your message changes regularly. Instead of replacing printed panels or posters, you can update the board by hand using soft chalk or liquid chalk pens.

This makes the Ecoflex 2 HPL a good option for hospitality businesses, cafés, bars, restaurants, salons and venues that need to promote different offers, menus or events throughout the week.

Ecoflex 2 chalkboard or printed pavement sign?

Choose the Ecoflex 2 chalkboard pavement sign if you need a reusable sign for handwritten messages, daily specials, menus, event times or temporary promotions.

Choose a printed pavement sign if you want fixed branding, professional artwork, a permanent offer, QR code, logo, opening hours or a more polished customer-facing display.

Choose a snap frame pavement sign if you need to change printed poster inserts regularly.

Choose the Ecoflextra pavement sign if you need a larger display area and stronger visibility than the Ecoflex 2.

Using soft chalk and liquid chalk pens

The live product page states that the Ecoflex 2 HPL is suitable for soft chalk and liquid chalk pens. For best results, test pens on a small area first, follow the pen manufacturer’s cleaning guidance, and clean the board regularly to avoid staining or ghosting.

Use clear, high-contrast handwriting and keep the message short. Pavement signs are usually read quickly by people walking or driving past, so a simple message will work better than a crowded board.
