Choosing the right A2 poster material

Choose Premium Matt for indoor posters where you want a lower-glare finish. It is useful for text-heavy posters, notices, educational displays, artwork, photography and areas with bright lighting.

Choose Premium Silk for indoor advertising posters where you want a smooth finish with stronger colour impact. It is a good all-round choice for retail promotions, events and general poster advertising.

Choose Backlit for lightboxes and illuminated displays. Backlit material is designed to work with light behind the graphic, making it suitable for menu lightboxes, LED poster frames, retail lightboxes and venue displays.

Choose EasyDot for repositionable graphics that need to be applied and removed more easily. It is useful for short-term promotional graphics, walls, windows, vehicles, caravans and temporary campaigns.

Choose Synthetic for waterproof or more durable posters used in pavement signs, outdoor poster frames and areas where moisture resistance is needed.

Choose PVC 440mic for outdoor waterproof posters and more robust advertising graphics.

Indoor or outdoor A2 posters?

Choose indoor if your poster will be displayed inside a shop, office, venue, reception area, school, exhibition space or noticeboard.

Choose outdoor if your poster will be used in a pavement sign, outdoor poster frame, sheltered exterior display, billboard-style application or any location where moisture resistance is needed.

If your poster will be used inside a lightbox, choose Backlit rather than standard matt or silk poster material.

A2 poster printing or A2 Foamex board?

Choose an A2 poster if you need a flexible printed sheet for a frame, lightbox, wall display, pavement sign, noticeboard or temporary promotional display.

Choose A2 Foamex board if you need a rigid sign or display panel that can stand on an easel, be fixed to a wall or be used as a more substantial display board.

Artwork for A2 posters

For best results, supply your artwork as a print-ready PDF at A2 size: 420 × 594mm. We can also accept AI, EPS, JPG and PNG files.

Artwork should be high resolution and set up in CMYK colour where possible. Keep important text, logos, prices, QR codes and contact details away from the trim edge. Our team will check your artwork before production and contact you if anything needs adjusting.
