Choosing the right A0 poster material

Choose Premium Matt for indoor posters where you want a lower-glare finish. It is useful for text-heavy posters, notices, educational displays, artwork, photography and brightly lit areas.

Choose Premium Silk for indoor advertising posters where you want a smooth finish with stronger colour impact. It is a good all-round choice for retail promotions, events and general poster advertising.

Choose Backlit for lightboxes and illuminated displays. Backlit material is designed to work with light behind the graphic, making it suitable for LED poster frames, retail lightboxes, menu lightboxes and venue displays.

Choose EasyDot for repositionable graphics that need to be applied and removed more easily. It is useful for short-term promotional graphics, windows, smooth walls, vehicles, caravans and temporary campaigns.

Choose Synthetic for waterproof or more durable posters used in outdoor poster frames, pavement signs where compatible, and moisture-prone display areas.

Choose Blueback for billboard-style posters or outdoor promotional use where a blue-backed waterproof poster material is required.

Indoor or outdoor A0 posters?

Choose indoor if your poster will be displayed inside a shop, office, venue, reception area, school, exhibition space, noticeboard, poster frame or lightbox.

Choose outdoor if your poster will be used in an outdoor poster frame, sheltered exterior display, billboard-style application or any location where moisture resistance is needed.

If your poster will be used inside a lightbox, choose Backlit rather than standard matt or silk poster material.

A0 poster printing or rigid board printing?

Choose an A0 poster if you need a flexible printed sheet for a frame, lightbox, wall display, window display, noticeboard or temporary promotional display.

Choose Foamex, Correx or aluminium composite board if you need a rigid sign or display panel that can stand on an easel, be fixed to a wall, fixed to posts or used as a more substantial display board.

Artwork for A0 posters

For best results, supply your artwork as a print-ready PDF at A0 size: 841 × 1189mm. The page states that PDF, AI, EPS, JPG and PNG files are accepted and that files are checked before production.

Artwork should be high resolution and set up in CMYK colour where possible. Keep important text, logos, prices, QR codes and contact details away from the trim edge. Our team will check your artwork before production and contact you if anything needs adjusting.
