Our 5mm Foamex boards are printed directly onto rigid PVC foam board, giving you a smooth, lightweight and professional sign panel suitable for a wide range of display and signage uses.

Foamex is a popular choice for indoor signs, retail graphics, exhibition boards, menu boards, office signs, information panels, wall-mounted displays and promotional signage. It gives a cleaner, more rigid finish than Correx while still being easy to handle, cut, fix and install.

Each board is digitally printed in full colour and trimmed to size as standard. Single-sided and double-sided print options are available, depending on how the board will be displayed. Foamex can be fixed using adhesive, strong double-sided tape, screws, nails or rivets on a suitable surface.

Indoor and outdoor use

Foamex is suitable for many indoor display and signage applications. It can also be used outdoors for suitable short-term signage, but care is needed when fitting it in areas exposed to heat or direct sunlight.

Foamex can expand in heated conditions. If the board is fixed too tightly, fitted inside a frame without expansion space, or exposed to direct heat, it may warp. Standard product tolerance may be up to 5mm per linear metre. If your sign will be used outdoors long term, or in a hot exposed location, ask our team whether Dibond / ACM would be a better option.

Board size and delivery

Foamex can be printed in large sheet sizes, but delivery restrictions may affect the maximum size that can be sent in one piece. Boards over certain sizes may need to be tiled or supplied in sections for safe delivery.

Artwork for Foamex board printing

For best results, supply your artwork as a print-ready PDF at the correct finished size. We can also accept AI, EPS, JPG and PNG files. Artwork should be high resolution, set up in CMYK colour where possible, and include any bleed required for trimming.

Foamex, Correx or Dibond?

Choose Foamex if you need a smooth, rigid board for indoor signs, wall displays, retail panels, exhibition graphics, menu boards or short-term promotional signage.

Choose Correx if you need a lightweight, lower-cost board for temporary outdoor signs, estate agent boards, site signs, event signs or short-term advertising.

Choose Dibond / ACM if you need a stronger, longer-lasting outdoor sign for shop fronts, business premises, directional signs or permanent exterior signage.
