Supporting BARK with Fundraising T-Shirts
At Fantasy Prints, we love seeing local organisations and charities making a real difference in our community. Right now, BARK (Berwick Animal Rescue Kennels) is running a special fundraising project to support their work with rescue animals – and we’re delighted to have played a small part by printing their new “Opt to Adopt” T-shirts.
A Gifted Design with a Powerful Message
These T-shirts were designed and donated by a local, retired graphic designer who has a lifelong passion for animal rescue. Over the past 65 years, they’ve shared their life with eight wonderful rescue dogs – including one from BARK – and are passionate about giving rescue animals a second chance rather than buying from breeders.
To ensure the project stayed local, the donor chose Fantasy Prints to print the shirts. We’re proud to have been trusted with producing a high-quality product that showcases such an important message.
Making a Real Impact
Because the shirts themselves were donated, every sale directly benefits BARK. The t-shirts are being sold for £12.50 and with the addition of 25% Gift Aid, each shirt sold raises a total profit of £15.62 – all of which goes straight back into helping animals in need.

About BARK
For those unfamiliar, B.A.R.K. (Berwick Animal Rescue Kennels) is a registered charity providing temporary refuge for unwanted and stray domestic animals. These animals receive veterinary care, a safe and stable environment suited to each individual. Following an assessment they may be placed in a home that best fits their needs and character.
Their reach extends across Northumberland and the Scottish Borders, though animals have come into their care from as far north as Aberdeen and as far south as London. Over the years, they’ve rehomed not only dogs and cats, but also rabbits, small mammals, birds, reptiles, tortoises, and even fish.
Building for the Future
BARK is currently raising funds to build a new block at their kennels, ensuring they can continue their vital work for years to come. Supporters also have the opportunity to sponsor an engraved brick – a lasting way to honour a pet, friend, or loved one while supporting BARK’s future.
