Fantasy Prints invited to Berwick Probus

The tremendous progress of Fantasy Prints in Berwick since it opened in 1992 was introduced by company receptionist and national delivery coordinator Wendy Lough, guest speaker at Berwick Probus Club.

The firm has now established close links with leading holiday parks Bourne Leisure, Parkdean, Butlin’s and others in the United Kingdom and Spain. It started in a shop in West Street, which it retains, but expansion has taken it into three units at the Ramparts Business Park. It has a staff of 22. Moving in 2001 into a business park building allowed steadily increasing orders.

Screen printing was an important part, and the business invested in a Litho printer, capable of 600 copies an hour. The finishing department is now much greener. There is a vinyl department and a large format printer. There is a printer which prints directly onto board, and the business has an embroidery department.

Wendy said she enjoyed her work where no two days were alike and where she met the public and organised the despatch of orders throughout the country.
